The point was that in real life, transgenders typically have to disclose that fact to their partners because of the biological differences between male and female bodies that science as of now cannot resolve. With this technology, they would have fully-functional bodies of their chosen gender; for all intents and purposes, they are biologically that sex. Therefore, there would be no real need to disclose that they are trans, since biologically, it wouldn't matter in this case.
