Killed my AOL Instant Messenger, took away the only reason I ever used tumblr, and have a stooge heading the FCC to end net neutrality. So awesome to see their crap come back to bite them, even just a little bit. And this loss is like a drop in the bucket to them, I know. But it still feels good! Fuck Verizon! Aaantlion posted... The fact that Yahoo is still a thing (albeit part of another company now) despite bone-headed decision after bone-headed decision and security breach after security breach is a constant headscratcher. Apparently it's still pretty widely used, though. I thought the reason they survived at all was solely b/c they made one really good decision and bought up that Chinese online store (Alibaba?) while it was cheap, and its success pretty much was single handedly keeping the entire Yahoo conglomerate solvent? ...
