Definitely after. I knew lots of people who didn't work day shift who loved to sleep right after work. That's not for me. I hated having to do stuff during the day around the time I would normally sleep. But having time before work is worst. For one, like mooreandrew58 said, you started clock watching... Then, I feel like I didn't get enough sleep. And I'm even more tired at work then I feel I would have been had I gone to work after waking up and getting ready for the day. Also, by the time work is over, I usually feel much more awake than before. Meaning I can do a lot. And that I wouldn't really be able to sleep. Especially if aafter work is night...

Yeah. Helps that despite being a rural as fuck area my wallmart is 24/7 so night shift wouldnt get in the way of grocery shopping. Hell getting in and out would be vastly easier too as the store is pretty dead late night and early morning.

Yeah. I have 2 24/7 Wal-marts (one on the north side and the south side). And they are super empty at night. There are people, but nowhere near the amount during the day. It's great!

About the same amount of registers open too as when its busy lol

Yep. It usually goes fast when I shop at night. And don't have to worry about waiting for a super long time.

Really hope I get night shift at my new job. Get paid more and it just fits my normal sleeping schedule better. Night shift there is 6 pm to 6 am though.
