I don't doubt there are people somewhere out there that approve of all types of violence, but I'm trying to assert they are a minority. In this context what I mean by "horrific attack" is a deliberately planned and unprovoked attempt to kill or seriously injure another. By "unprovoked" I only mean to rule out cases of self defense or defense of others and not cases of politically motivated violence. --- Oh woops.
