I had mine for less than three months and was looking at the ground and spinning in Skyrim. My only controller with drift that bad is a wired 360 pad that is over a decade old, from the NZ launch systems in 2006. Fortunately EB took returns on Switch Joy Con controllers within warranty so customers didn't need to deal with Nintendo themselves.

Yeah sure, just dump another NZ$120 on a system that already cost me NZ$550, just to avoid a common flaw.

Understand, I like the system, but that issue is best avoided. Nintendo is doing new systems, best to see if they fix the Joy Con analog sticks with the revamp rather than hope he gets a pair that doesn't fuck out quickly.
