The fact that women now are doing so well in comparison to men in addition to having it ingrained in them that a man is supposed to take care of them....those two factors lead to a lot of women being breadwinners, making more money than men, and not wanting to date guys that make less than them. Those guys making 40k today would have had less issues scooping up a woman back in the days where women didn't work or didn't make as much money. But now that women are making 60k, 70k and up, those 40k guys don't cut it for them any more. I agree that those women should probably be at least a little more open to the idea of marrying down, but chances are, they are going to at least feel like on some level that they are taking care of him. But they have it ingrained that it should be the other way around.

Your forgetting one of the most important aspects of womanhood and why hypergamy exist within them which is motherhood. Woman are completely vulnerable while pregnant so naturally they desired well off and strong man to protect, care, and provide for them. Which naturally led to their suppostive and child raising role throughout history, not societal norms.

I told you earlier it's usually the woman with more of a issue with their man earning less, at least enough so to end the relationship. Well if pregnant(or they want to be) how much sense does it make for them to be caring for the man? How can most woman rely on a man who isnt at least on her lv when kids enter the picture?

This is why due to hypergamy most woman refuse to marry down, weather they realize it or not. Yes these relationships work...sometimes, but generally they dont last.

As such theres nothing we can do for guys under 30 not getting laid other then to legalize prostitution. But I doubt we're see a politician with will enough for that in our lifetime sadly.
