Greetings, and welcome to the nomination and support topic for Best OST Contest 5! In this contest, you and fellow video game soundtrack lovers will come together to once and for all answer the question "What is the best video game soundtrack? (For now.)" I'm your host deogenerate (or deo for short, or banshiryuu going by my GameFAQs handle) and this time around I'll be taking the reigns from BOST's innovator, azuarc. Having only been in the community for about two years now, far after the last BOST happened, I'm running into this somewhat blind, but I'm super excited to run this for you guys!

This is the thread for nominating soundtracks, and supporting lists nominated by others! For general information on the rest of the contest structure, please check the pre-contest discussion thread here: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/8-gamefaqs-contests/77845973
(Do note some information on the nomination phase has changed since this topic went up!)

Some advice on nominations from the contest's previous runner, azuarc:

azuarc posted...
* Turn off embedded videos so you can actually see everything. Yeah, you have to right-click links, but much easier to view the page.
* If you're trying to decide between a few nominations, go with either the one that's most important or most obscure first because earlier nominations will get more exposure.
* Remember to put your best songs up front!
* Accept input graciously on your nominations and take others' suggestions seriously (bot not unequivocally.)
* Don't beg. It's very easy to assume your nomination has gotten lost in the shuffle. Maybe once or twice you can make a minor change to the setlist as a way of saying "bump!"
* Don't wait until the very end to support, but don't do them one at a time, either, unless you're just very emphatic about that nomination.
* Give us the best, coolest, most interesting, most unique, newest, awesomest soundtracks to vote on!
