The people freaking out over this are just as much a part of the outrage culture as the SJWs.
But at least it's entertaining. Especially the posters flipping out on the posters that aren't flipping out and thinking they got a "gotcha moment".

To the OP: It's funny reaction to something so innocuous as "manhole". But do whatever; I ain't loosing no sleep over this.

lol. It is, I won't lie. It's also funny, to me, that a thing that covers literal shit needed to be addressed because of it's name in the first place lol.

We should call them shitholes lol.
Well tbf shit does come from a manhole.

Ba dum tiss

Thank you. Thank you. I'll be here all week.

Manholes aren't what started all of this. They're removing all gendered language. He/she and fireman, mailman, etc... seem to be the focus, while manhole got swept up with it all. But it's the easiest to ridicule, so they make it out to be the foundation. It's a bit humours, and worth a quick scoff, not all this outrage.
And I get that. I strive to say police or firefighter over the gendered terms I grew up with. I have no problem being inclusive with actual people. I think it's funny, because it's an inanimate object and therefore itself can't be offended. So I chuckle at it.

But in it being implemented; I have no horse in the race. Either way it is what it is.
