There's only one truly challenging traversal segment in the whole game near the very end, and combat never gets harder than what you've already experienced. If you've a fan of the genre coming from Hollow Knight, I'd recommend something like Axoim Verge (which is more Metroid than -vania) or Valdis Story (which is more -vania than Metroid). Of the 2, Valdis Story is probably going to appeal to you more, and it an incredibly underrated indie gem. --- "History Is Much Like An Endless Waltz.
