Typically, you can get more power from a PC than you would of a given console, given the same budget.
Near the end of a console gen, sure, once part prices come down and the budget GPUs that compete with the top of the line stuff from a few years back...but that straight up doesn't happen for much of a console generation. You're almost always going to be spending at least double that for a good chunk of a console's life to get equivalent performance.
This isnt true. There is never any point in any consoles life where you cant build a better PC for cheaper. Not even at launch. Not even before launch.
So i could build a amazing gaming pc for 250? Cause thats what I paid for my ps4. And yes I bought it new just not at launch. ---
