It just has to be fun. If you dont want the system, dont get it. It sounds like you wouldnt like the games, anyway. Why want something you dont want? And Nintendo does do gimmicks a lot. This time, the gimmick is simply both console and handheld. Its not a gimmick you have to fight. Its sounds like you just want to complain about Nintendo, while pretending you want to want it or something... Every kid is different, also. The art style has nothing to do with how childish something is or isnt. Just because one like a certain art style while another child likes a different one doesnt really mean one is more childish or mature.
