Topic	Something that bothers me about Christianity.

Passages on election teach that God chose who was going to be saved before the foundation of the world. The concept of free will is pretty much totally absent from the Bible. isn't that calvinism? Yes, but it's not accurate to say these beliefs began with John Calvin. There are multiple sections of the Bible that speak of God's purpose in choosing people for salvation and the futility of man to resist his will.
