It's a trade off I'm okay with. dude, an earthquake is over in a minute and then you go about your business as usual. you're not spending all season shoveling up earthquake debris. after the northridge quake, all of our building codes were updated so that disaster never happens again. earthquakes are a curiosity now for most of us, maybe a temporary inconvenience if you are right on top of it and haven't prepared properly.
