The point isn't sympathy or anything similar though. It's just frustrating when people claim that the playing field is level; it is not. Some of us have to live with that unfortunate fact our entire lives, so we recoil when others try to cover it up.
I have sympathy for your plight. But when you consistently frame it as "women have it so much easier" is when you lose people. ---
