My parents were also smokers, and it only ever had a major negative impact on my life and theirs, so I'll always regard the habit and those who practice it with disdain. But this is specifically about butts on the ground. There are smokers who dont litter nor do they smoke around anyone who doesnt want it around them. I'm not going to sit here and divide up "good" smokers from "bad" ones when I collectively don't like any of them. Well thats irrational. What if your best friend who youd never seen smoke and never smoked around you one day told you he smokes privately when others arent around?
