The thing is that conservative predictions about the effect of social changes are usually right, despite whether you think those changes were positive/essential or not. Even going back to the 1940s, conservatives feared the ushering in of the rock music genre would lead to increased promiscuity, and it did. In the 60s, conservatives claimed that the rise in feminism and women entering the workforce would destabilize the traditional family structure, and it did. In the 2000s, conservatives said that the gay marriage movement would open the door for the acceptance of every type of sexual/gender identity and produce a society where kids would begin sex transitions, and they were right there too. --- - The Admiral ...
