Topic	is sonic being in smash the only thing keeping him alive

Sonic Team really should have stuck to that formula and polished it up more for subsequent games. Too bad they had to kill all their momentum with trash like Lost World and Forces. And even though they weren't the ones who developed it, they did give Big Red Button, a team of Naughty Dog rejects, permission to make the travesty that was Sonic Boom: Rise Of Lyric. Sonic is truly a lost cause at this point. Even if Sonic Team manage to make a good 3D Sonic game, it may be too late; platformers like Sonic games just aren't as popular anymore. facts fam, there hasn't been a good sonic game in over 20 years Sonic mania.
