Of course I do have a legit answer if TC is not just trolling.
Living in cities like San Fran or Los Angeles has high amount of job opportunities, which also means high amounts of people are going to flock to them. Most of these people who move into California for job opportunities tend to be over achievers who want to increase their chances in getting picked. This means being number 1 at what they do. I know I have a manager who's from Kansas that moved to LA specifically for the position he has at our firm. He's decorated af with a very impressive resume and work experience.
But honestly, those are the minority though. Most of us Californians living in the cities are just trying to live our lives and don't care about being overachievers.
But of course I have a feeling this topic was made specifically for trolling, so whatever at this point.
So asking a question about a state is trolling? Maybe it wouldn't be so annoying if I wasn't constantly surrounded by these people. So you're saying that most of the California transplants aren't from there? Is California not a state that is obsessed with their status / appearance?
