Which may or may not mean it's dead for the 2020 census due to form-printing deadlines. It's almost certainly dead for this census anyway, they blocked it because the census department did not follow their own rules for assessing the impact of a change (which this almost certainly would have failed). Republicans will have to reload for the 2030. The partisan gerrymandering is likely a correct ruling, if not unfortunate.
