I was watching it some weeks back and their shock and reaction to when they heard simba did it.

I was sitting there 'why is this suprising, it's normal, now they should be lining up to get railed by simba, or scar, pending outcome'

Though it does remind me of watching savage kingdom and the main male was watching the young males get too friendly and then charged em because of a flashback sequence. That's some real soap opera drama.
