You don't just casually gain that much weight so quickly and aspiring to be in the best physical/mental state in the first few years of marriage should be a goal for any couple to stay happy. My brother and his wife were together 15 years before they righted the ship in terms of body weight. This is no reason to divorce someone right after marriage, lol.
