(7) (over Divine Beast Vah Ruta (Dungeon), for Happy Hippo, over Knight of a Foreign Country, for Studiopolis, over Flash Frost) I've never loved Chocolate Missile in this contest (though I still voted for it twice) and I don't love it now. I just don't think it's a song I can get into. It's not a bad song, but I just don't feel any sort of connection to it. The big climax at 1:30 comes the closest, but even that falls short. Battle!!, like Chocolate Missile, is a song I've voted both for and against multiple times (in Battle!!'s case, it's alternated every round). There's more for more to grab onto here - lots of big sweeping strings and a playful/epic dichotomy that works really well. At first its length bothered me, but now I've gotten used to it. If Chocolate Missile goes down here, my last below average song left will be eliminated. Here's hoping! Vote: Battle!! ... Copied to Clipboard! |
