And I mean, that should be okay because it was their first rodeo with open world. It feels like a game that needs an expansion or sequel of some kind to better utilize all of the things that it offers. Instead, we have like a really good engine and barely anything to do with it. If Konami had managed to get something actually decent out instead of Survive, I think you would see a lot less hate for MGS V. As it is now, people view it as a wasted opportunity by Kojima, And while there is plenty of things to give Kojima shit for (notably the weird cliffhanger when the idea to scrap Kingdom of the Flies was said to have been done years before any of the bad shit happened, and removing Battle Gear as a playable vehicle because it wasn't balanced enough in a game with tons of unbalanced shit) you can't really fault him for not making the absolute best open world MGS game ever when he didn't even go into it thinking it was going to be the last game. --- How about I say what I want and you keep crying about it? ...
