Ignore the low effort he is making lol Anyway, I found it to not really have replay value and I didn't care for the item skill learning system. The cast was mostly meh, but I liked Garnet, Vivi was good, Zidane was generic but didn't really have any dislikable qualities. Steiner... didn't care for as a character but was great in battle. Quina was not useful but was really good if not bizarre comic relief. Story was pretty good. Music was hit or miss, but the hits were fantastic, and it has the best normal battle track of any FF I've played. Area design was pretty good. They used the same sort of city design as 8, where they look like realistic sized population areas. I liked how enemy death sound effects were played on the final hit rather than after the fatal damage was displayed. I liked that unique enemy sounds that 8 introduced, and 9 did it . Card game is very fun, but not as good as 8's imo. Kuja is an interesting and compelling character. The androgeny sorta weirded me out at first, but that was like 20 years ago. Overall, solid game, very much worth playing. I personally never felt like playing through more than once, unlike some other FFs. Also, it's a good first entry for anyone who hasn't played an FF game before because it is reminiscent of the first game in the series and has many references to it. I don't think it is meant to be a retelling, but it sort of is, in a way. --- Place-holder sig because new phone and old sigs not saved :/ ... Copied to Clipboard! |
