Maybe some of the blandness is from how fuzzy the trailer pics all are. That first image doesn't look too bad. She's still a step down from what I expect from the character.

I still think there's censorship with the boobs and preferential treatment with regards to Aeris. I think they want her to be the girl you remember. Maybe they want to milk the famous spoiler for all it's worth by trying to make her the better girl.

Because you can undo 20 years of the fans choosing Tifa by making her look a little less flattering than she could be and making Aeris a look cuter than she has to be. :/
