Steam has been a one man show for the longest time and they take a substantial cut from the devs. Yeah their store sucks balls but give it time. Remember when Steam was notorious for shitty clients back in 2000s? epic isn't competing with 2006 steam, though true. but give it time tho. Epic takes 12% of sales while Valve takes a whopping 30% !! Imagine being a developer and thinking about what route you want to take. Also, with all the money flowing from ForkKnife ramping 3 billion in PROFIT alone, Epic should be a fine store in a few years. I am all for consumer advantage, but lets be nice to the people that also creates these games for us too. Why should anyone give it time? No other market can do you compete with shittier products.
