No_U_L7 posted... iLikeQ posted... its more about the principle then actual use. growing up in an Asian household, everything was about tidiness and cleanliness because it was often associated with success. i dont feel like typing my full thoughts, but im happy i was raised that way And as you grow older, you should be smart enough to realize most of that was bullshit. Parents are often wrong. No need to continue with dumb and inefficient traditions It's all about personal utility. This guy gets value out of having a tidy looking room, you get value out of being a "pick up artist" and wristwatches or whatever. Diff'rent strokes 'n all, it's not hard to understand. I'm not telling him to stop. I'm telling him to think about it properly and not do things because "it's the way it's always been done". Value does have some subjectivity and I'm saying subjectively making your bed is a waste of time its not a waste of time if its eye appealing? it literally takes less than 30 seconds and brings comfort and security and my significant other and I appreciate a clean apartment. i can argue that we dont have to push the kitchen chairs in or put the controllers back or put the snacks back in the pantry. how does do you value time? if im not consistently working and making $$, is everything else a waste of time? <cite>iLikeQ posted [p:922932284] in Lmao at pe...
