Even if you don't want to buy online you can just get games at Best Buy or Walmart or something and they'll be more likely to have it in stock, it will actually be sealed, and they wont try to get you to sign up for a magazine or pre-order a game or whatever.

It's kind of hilarious how bad GameStop is, I have no idea how they're still around. I guess the margins on used games are enough to keep them afloat despite being terrible in every other area of business.

On release day, best buy never has the games I want. I always have to go to gamestop and they always have them.

Literally just now got back from lunch shopping trip. Best buy and gamestop are participating in the Sony days of play sale. Best buys shelves were empty, and a tumbleweed blew through, while gamestop had what I wanted.
