It's hypocrisy to show pride in who you are but look down upon someone showing pride in who they are. Couldn't the same be said of those who love their country? I mean, you were born there - you didn't have to do anything but continue to live, so where does the "pride" come from? Not trolling here, just noticing how it's okay for someone to say they're proud to be an American, Canadian, etc. and nobody seems to care. not the same. a country had to be built and maintained. your gender and sexuality do not. ...not what I was getting at. Being born into a situation that you find pride in, that's my point. It's okay to feel pride in something you helped create, but come on, we both know that's not what's going on here.
