| cavalierking 06/03/19 1:54:07 PM #1: | used to have a facebook account, which i closed a while ago the constant and vapid displays of narcissism on there just became way too much for me (not that i didn't used to engage in that kinda thing too) - like, shit was straight disillusioning and honestly, if your "friends" aren't people who can be bothered to maintain regular to semi-regular contact with you (whether it be through texts, calls, or even - god forbid - meetings in person when possible), and all you know them for are where they went on vacation recently or what they had for lunch the other day or whatever other dumb thing, then they really aren't people worth knowing at all imo i also started to value my privacy a lot more within the last year or two or so, so there was that too --- live and let live ...
