Early reports said he was fired. That was false, but he was in trouble for a fight.

Craddock reportedly knew he was facing disciplinary action for the fight when he went into the municipal building with two .45-caliber handguns, at least one of which was equipped with a sound suppressor and both of which were purchased legally.

Craddock killed 12 people, all but one a co-worker, and injured several others before he died in a police shootout.

Just saw a report saying he sent in a resignation letter giving 2 weeks notice.

It's now being said that he was facing no disciplinary action and that there were no complaints about his job performance. I think we're looking at an infamy killer, like a Paddock. Nothing so far suggests that he was "disgruntled". He also left behind almost no online social media footprint. Pictures of him are hard to find.

As for the letter,

Officials would not discuss what Craddock wrote in his resignation, but a person familiar with the email said it was short and there was "nothing out of the ordinary."

"He merely submitted his two weeks' notice," said the person, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the investigation is ongoing. "There was no foreshadowing of anything that resulted the rest of the day."

Sadly, this could turn into one of those cases where we'll never really know what set this guy off. Like that guy in Las Vegas.

It's not the size of the dog in the fight that matters, it's the size of the fight in the dog.
