29 y/o self democratic socialist, Alexandria Ocasio Cortez who famously tended the bar to pay bills for college until she became a political firebrand in her shock 2018 win went back to her old day job to help push for a $15 minimum wage for service workers!!

She was in high spirits as she pu lled pints and made margaritas at Queensboro Restaurant in NYC and she even WAITED tables and dished up food for fans

The event was alled One Fair Wage, an organization that seeks to raise paycheques for restaurant workers and other tipped employees across the country

She at one point put down the mic to make an impassioned speech on behalf of the bar staff and said "Any job that pays $2.13 an hour is not a job. It's an indentured servitude. All labour has dignity and the way that we give labour dignity is by paying people the respect and the value that they are worth. We have to raise the national minimum wage to $15 an hour"

The bronx born politician then pose for selfies as she boasts about her bar skills and said "I was nevous that i may have lost my touch, still got it! That muscle memory doesn't quit. Now let's pass #RaiseTheWage and get $15 an hour minimum for every worker in America"

She worked as a waitress and bartender after finishing her studies at Boston University in 2011 and worked 18 hour shifts at various establishments to help her house cleaning mother at their home

It wasn't until 2017 when she plotted her political future and made her name known when she defeated a long time popular democratic congressman...

She became such a threat that a wealthy REPUBLICAN donor is spending MILLIONS in her district to get her kicked out of office.
