Do you guys go to a work barbecue (for example) and immediately rush to grab the nearest child and be all "You are soo good looking!" Seinfeld style? I wouldn't even do that shit to a younger family member, let alone a stranger's kid. Even if I was a loving father myself. We live in a society where it's not okay for a grown man to do that, and it hasn't been okay for a long time, if not ever. I don't even get why you would interact with a kid if you didn't have to, there's plenty of adults for you to mingle with. You're not being introduced to them, they're not approaching you or trying to talk to you, so why go out of your way to single them out like that? It doesn't make sense.
