Personally, I'm terrified of getting one, so I drive the limit or even a little slower (65-70). You can argue your way out of a flow-of-traffic ticket for going too slow, but good luck with hard evidence that you were speeding. No reason to make my life harder so someone can get to work two minutes early. I've been driving for 15 years all over the US and have never gotten a speeding ticket. I also keep a keen eye out for speed traps. Never gotten a speeding ticket. What are the signs of a speed trap? Did you know Google maps will warn you about them mow? Well, you can put a radar detector up in your car which will tell you well ahead of the cops getting a speed for your car. They're illegal in DC and VA though.
