The invaders of Sodom rejected the daughters offered, which somehow is supposed to imply that they didnt like girls, or wanted the sons, or something.

Also there is a verse that it is an abomination for a man to lie with another man the way he lies with a woman, or something like that. But there is some controversy as to the actual translation and/or interpretation of the verse.
In the Sodom and Gomorra story it was not just that the men rejected Lot's daughters but that they knew the men were messengers of God and still wanted to have sexual relations with them. That is a true affront to God, as the angels are his sons.

The "men who lie with men" in the Old Testament has more to do with sexual relations. But I honestly can't remember what specifically.

It's also like the story of Onan in the OT that "spilled his seed on the ground" that many Christian religions use as a way to say masturbation is a sin. What the story was really about was Onan refusing to preform brother in law marriage and impregnate his brother's wife so that his brother's name would be carried on after his brother died. There is no explicit mention or condemnation of masturbation in the Bible.

Honestly wasnt the Sodom story also more about them forcefully attempting to have sex with the angels (i.e. rape) anyway? Its been a while since I actually read it myself but I remember thinking it was a real stretch to use that passage as proof the Bible is anti-LGBTQ.
