Dany is not stupid, neither is Jon or Tyrion. Jamie's arc from the whole series got obliterated in one episode. It's been a major point of her character. Have you not been paying atttention? It's the entire reason Varys died. Tyrion has been running around trying to save lives because he knew Dany wouldn't.
