I get the idea of a running gag (I have no real explanation for why I still laugh every time I see Jon Bois's "welcome to college football saturday" every saturday of the year), but because of the context I think this is more of an "Every year I think this is funny" situation rather than a "The joke is I post this every year". --- ...
