I thought ice was Jon Snow and Fire was Dany Ice is Lyanna Stark and fire is Raegar Targaryen. Jon, their son, is the song of ice and fire. Interesting. Literally in book 2, Dany is ~~in the House of the Undying and has a vision of some dude with silver hair holding up a baby and says to a woman (whom I assume is Lyanna Stark) "His will be the Song of Ice and Fire.~~ That's not Jon, that's Aegon. Rhaegar was dead before Lyanna ever had her child. Rhaegar was a bit obsessed with the prince that was promised prophecy and originally believed he himself was the prince. Later, he changed his mind and believed his son was the prince.
