I frequently find myself having to trace back my steps because of my stubborn ISTJ friend who incessantly asks for proof of 100% certainty whenever I bring up certain scientific topics. He hates science/scientists because "it's all theory" and "they're always changing their answer so you never know!" ISTJ rely heavily on reputable sources because they are terrible at connecting the dots. So they gather as many facts as they can because 'you never know' INTPs don't care much about the source but rather the accuracy of a system, argument, or logical structure. Not so much evidence like ISTJs demand. INTJs don't care to gather enough data because they put pieces together with minimal data and effort, physic like. INTJs: What if we do this and that?? It may work! Why not. The risk to reward ratio is in our favor. ISTJs: Wait for ALL the facts! You can never be too safe. INTP: Absence of proof is not proof of absence ... Copied to Clipboard! |
