| VintageGin 05/09/19 1:36:01 AM #12: | My wife works in a mycology lab. She says the mushroom is probably a shaggy mane, which is edible. But it's hard to 100% confirm from that photo so I wouldn't go eating it or anything. If it starts to self-digest (liquefy) as it gets older, that would be further confirmation. However, there's a chance that it's a different mushroom.
