Topic	Tales of the Abyss has my favorite battle system of any RPG.

I like that it's not a typical tale about saving the world, and that the sole reason for Velvet's existence is as a weapon of vengeance. It got a little stale when she showed only that aspect of her personality, but she showed character growth and different layers to her personality.
