Because they might be in constant pain or nothing more than a drooling mass of flesh that will barely have sentience before dying young.

This really comes down to whether or not you think a fetus has rights, which just makes it the normal abortion argument. Even if you think it did, parents still ultimately decide the fates of their children. If a perfectly healthy, living child became deathly ill, the parents can choose to pull the plug.

We need more right-to-die laws anyway imo.
