Is 5,280 feet a good unit of measurement? What is it in metric system?

An inch is roughly the width of a person's thumb
A foot is roughly the length of a person's foot
A yard is roughly the stride of a single person (one pace)
A mile is roughly 1000 paces, having originated from the Roman mille passus, or thousand paces."

I get that metric is easier to convert between units because everything is base 10, but imperial is based on easily quantifiable measures by humans without access to an accurate measuring device, so it has its purpose.

So much wrong.

I wonder if someone's going to pretend that intuitive, easily quantifiable approximate measurements don't exist for the metric system now

So simple, that rather than post them you just decided to vaguely imply that they exist. So tell me what they are for centimeter, meter, and kilometer.

micropenis, manlet, one thousand manlets

next

if you get accustomed to the metric system, you learn how to visualize the measurements. shocking, I know.

anyway: a figernail is roughly 1cm squared. a meter is about an arm length.
