You're not doing itself, you're the moron.

Lol you're so poor that it's worth the effort to save you 5 to 10 bucks every 3 months. I take mine to walmart while i shop. I used to do it myself until I realized I'd rather get it done while I shop than get up under a car to prove my manhood

This is a little more of an aggressive stance to take, but really I agree with this. After a certain point Id rather just pay someone to do it.

When they screw/strip your oil bolt, or don't leave it tight enough so the oil drips out and over time you never realize it, and then you blow a head gasket, lemme know how that $3000 new engine works out for ya.

Idiots. Work on your cars. Do it yourself. No headaches. Oil change takes 20 mins top.

Also, my car (now a Maxima) takes premium. No oil change is $15-20. It's like $60-80 in a shop. You must have a shitty civic.

It depends on where you get it changed, I believe. Anyway, Ive been getting it changed at the dealership since I had a number of free oil changes after buying it. Id rather not work on my car. Im sure if I did, it would turn out worse. Im can work on a B-1 because I trained to do that. But Im not a car mechanic. Id rather have someone specialized do that. Not everyone has the knownhow to do that, nor does everyone have the time. If you do, good for you. But youre the idiot if you really want to called us that for not workong kn our own cars. Some guys at my job love to do that. And thats good for them. Some take it to a mechanic. And that works for them. Personally, Id rather take it to a. Echanic who actually knows how to do stuff than try to do something myself and mess up. Besides, if its dripping enough that its bad, you should notice. You should be checking under you car for leaks before going anywhere. And should see if you car has been leaking like at home in you driveway. And if it is, immediately go back to where your oil was changed. If its not leaking enough to tell after you car has been sitting in the same spot overnight, itll probably not a bad leak. It would also donyou well to check you oil using the dip stick every once in a while. So, you should noticed before it really becomes an issue.
