Topic	The original HIMYM ending is perfect. I'm not wrong.

Ted telling the genuine love story of him and their mother while working up the courage to ask for their blessing to move on years after her death, theres something there for sure. Problem is a) show ran for-fucking-ever, as did the mystery about the mom, so the switch no longer works b) the end conversation with the kids was way too cavalier because they recorded it in SEASON ONE. It was so tonally off They took a square peg they wrote in S1 and jammed it into a round hole from like a decade later.
