I had Jiffy Lube strip the drain plug and fuck up the oil pan. Emailed their corporate office and had them buy a new plug and pan.

There's a good garage near me that specializes in European cars. Guys been there 30 years and works with his son. So far so good. Checks the belts and hoses while I'm there. Does everything but the dealer's free car wash.

Like others have said I can change it myself, but I'd rather be doing something else.

Yep. Once you find a trustworthy shop, stick with them. I found the shop I've used for the last 15 years by looking for a good selection of sports and performance cars in the parking lot. Car folk are picky about how their cars are cared for. I do my own maintenance, but take my cars in for state inspection and occasional things that need a chassis hoist.

I've been going to my guy about 15 years too. Support your local mechanic!
