I myself have backed out of the "Job 40 = dinosaurs" argument, not because I disagree with it, but rather because I heard a better interpretation (in my opinion).

Well I was being a little sarcastic lol. I thought the tone was obvious haha.

Haha. No worries. I was addressing dhalsimrocks in his rebuttal.

That being said, because I believe that dinosaurs did walk with man (and because after several big museum visits to specifically see dinosaur bones, and being only met with "98% of this T-Rex reconstruction is facsimile, and am skeptical that the darned things even exist...lol), I do believe that Job 40 has the potential to be about dinosaur/dinosaur-like creatures.

I think it's actually referencing Satan as the serpent/leviathan who God strung up like a fish, humiliating the one who corrupted the world. But...that it could be invoking legend/actual history to paint this picture. So I don't disagree with your interpretation at all :)

Dinosaurs walked with man? Sorry, but there was a 65 million year gap between the last dinosaurs and mankind (proof being none of the plants the herbivore dinosaurs ate were around by the time humans first appeared, plus the oxygen levels in the atmosphere at the time dinosaurs roamed was far less than it is today, and was too low to sustain human life).

Ancient man DID walk with dinosaurs.

Oh pokemonexpert you never cease to blow my mind.

There's a ton of evidence proving that humans walked with dinosaurs.
