You're talking about it as an inherent process, which is the first way. What happened here is the second... She has a history and people know that history. Some have seen changes and have gotten to know her and understand where she is coming from. Some are naturally malicious and just want to use it against her. Some don't care either way and just look at it how it applies or doesn't apply to the present. The people in the second category do exactly what they would do to anyone they choose to target. They know what buttons to push so they push them. They don't let up. They don't let go. People keep saying "well she takes it" and while I can't argue against that, I've seen her try much harder not to these days, but they won't let up because they know where the nerves are and they keep hitting them, and they do it because they know that eventually they will get the reaction they want if they just keep it up, and people in the third category will just revert back to what has happened in the past and do exactly what you and many others here are doing, which was the desired outcome initially. History repeated itself because some people wanted it to. Believe me, I've seen when she's been quick to lash out at people poking at her and I've seen when she and smoliske have spammed relationship topics and I even said they were just asking to be trolled. I've since seen her have much more patience when people troll and the relationship topics are just on occasions like these lately. The "I'm not a bad person" topics always seem to be preceded by instances of people going out of their way to attacker out of context. She has a reputation and a handful of people want to ensure it sticks with her or gets worse, with many others quick to say "See? Told ya" when shit like this happens. I can relate to her in many ways, some directly and some partially, and I will always be quick to stand up to people who I would say that about, so it's particularly aggravating to see people taking such horrible approaches as you are (obviously nothing can be done about the hateful alts trolling as always). What do you even want to see happen?
