Trends of outrage do not personally affect them, nor do they affect their ideals. For the average liberal, any wave can be ridden, and any consequence of such a wave to anyone that is famous can be rationalized. It's the reason why, when James Gunn got fired due to old tweets, and liberals were like "it was a conservative concern trolling" who targeted him, I rolled my eyes, because while it was in bad faith, it was the exact same tactic that liberals would use to get someone punished. Play for play. When Kathy Griffin got blacklisted, same thing. But at the end of the day, it's w/e.
