This probably isn't a popular opinion but I think the tablet craze at the time of its release kind of hurt it, because the trend at the time was for increasingly sleek designs and the Wii U gamepad had all that border which made it look old and clunky. AlisLandale posted... I feel like the Switch is going to end up being a lower-scale Wii phenomenon where people eat up the hardware but have almost no attachment to it >>_ Yeah, that's my impression.
